The pandemic has affected so many of us, especially the poor and low-income families. We need to lift up and lessen the burden of this crisis. But this pandemic will not prevent us from helping and giving service to LAPIS MO recipients of our hygiene kit.
Despite of this plague affecting the economies of the world, LAPIS MO has increased the number of beneficiary schools to help those indigent children of the selected communities. Seven new schools were added to make a total of nine schools for this year.
For this year, there will be distribution in, Navotas, Tactac, Taludtod, Sampaga Elementary Schools in Balayan, Batangas, Julian Castillo Mem. Elementary School in Tuy Batangas, Pag-asa Elementary School in Bataan and Aliaga Elementary School in Pangasinan. More and more people would like to join the noble object of LAPIS MO.
As we know that DepED announced that August 24, 2020 will be the opening of classes for this year which revoked by our President in order to assure the safety and security of the children especially in the public schools, LAPIS MO rest assured to our recipients that we are ready for our commitment.
In fact, our coordinators and volunteers were excited for the preparation of the educational starter kit for five different schools which will be schedule to distribute on August 6, 2020.
As early as now, we would like to thank our donors, supporters and volunteers who selflessly share whatever they can to help not only their resources but most importantly the HOPE to our recipients. I am always reminded by the Dr. Maya Agenlou when she said” When you learn teach…when you get give”. Our efforts of helping those in need will give our story purpose and meaning.
Again, a million of thanks to all of you and may you be blessed a thousand-fold.
