“Bangko Kabayan Foundation and Lapis Mo Kinabukasan Ko Joint Force to Help Brigada Eskwela at Baclaran Elementary School”

The Bangko Kabayan is not just a bank but also a pillar for community development! This was once proved when the Bangko Kabayan Foundation responded to the call of duty. Without hesitation, through Mam Josephine Delos Reyes, manager of Balayan Branch, the BKFI responded positively to the request of our cleint, Mr. Larry Macatangay, the Chairman & Founder of the Lapis Mo Kinabukasan Ko, a community-based Charity Organization, when he asked for donation whether in in cass or in kind to support their yearly distribution of “Education Stater Kit” for the impoverished elementary school children of Baclaran Elementary School. The kit is composed of 10 notebooks, pencil, ball pen, crayon, sharpener, eraser, papers and envelope for each student. Though the request reached us closed to the distribution day, nevertheless, the response of the Management to help was tremendously admirable and fulfilling knowing that we are on the go to share our corporate’s mission & vison to the community and to the poor.
As promised, me & my Staff delivered our commitment, 909 pcs. school notebooks were shared to support the Lapis Mo Kinabuaksan Ko complete their “Educational Starter Kit” for students to start their journey for the quest of education this year. Waiting at founder’s residence are some members of PNP, Philippine Army, volunteers, supporters and friends who helped us for the preparation, packing of items to be distributed and be ready for the distribution. Through the camaraderie and helping hands of everyone there the preparation was finished so quickly. 120 deserving elementary students will be benefited for the charity event. However, still many are should be given.
